Slaney News
WHAT? The Slaney News is a local and FREE Enniscorthy newspaper which celebrates life in Enniscorthy, Bunclody and the surrounding areas and highlights all that is positive in the community – success stories of all kinds, festivals and arts events, local organisations, clubs, businesses, and much more.
WHERE? 10,000 copies are printed per issue (see printer’s statement in each issue) of which 5,000 are distributed door-to-door in Enniscorthy town and 700 in Bunclody. The balance is distributed to 230 outlets in Enniscorthy, Bunclody and surrounding villages (see map in each issue showing the areas covered). These outlets include shops, newsagents, post-offices, coffee-shops, hairdressers, doctors’ surgeries, etc. The full list is published in all issues of the Slaney News.
WHO? Slaney News is published by Corcoran Print & Design which has been based in Enniscorthy for over 20 years. The business is run by Frank Corcoran who has 35 years experience in all aspects of publishing, printing and design and is a Periodical Publishers Association of Ireland award winner. The newspaper is printed in Cork by Webprint – Ireland's largest independent newspaper printer.
WHEN? Slaney News is usually printed on the first Monday of every month (and distribution of 10,000 copies fully completed within two days). Our next publication dates: see our "Home" page.
